#8 - Shawl Bay

The barometer has nose dived to 984 millibars, the lowest ever I've seen on this unit. Canadian Marine Weather calls for Hurricane Force winds, that's 45 to 55 knots, just above Cape Scott, the north end of Vancouver Island, a mere 70 miles due west of our moorage. We're staying put here in Shawl Bay. Even those veteran Pacific Coast sailors, the DanCin Dreamers, are staying. I think it a good idea to double up the lines.
